  • Our Urban Bushcraft home ed program is designed with inclusivity and hands-on learning at its core. Our Home Ed sessions combine the excitement of traditional bushcraft activities with an urban twist, making nature accessible and engaging for families living in and around the city.

Each session, we explore a variety of bushcraft skills such as:

    • Fire lighting and fire safety

    • Shelter building

    • Tool use and carving

    • Foraging and wild cooking

    • Knot tying and rope skills

    • Natural crafts

    • Environmental stewardship, woodland management & conservation

These activities not only teach practical skills but also encourage creativity, resilience, teamwork, and a deep connection with the natural world.

  • At Urban Bushcraft, we’ve spent the last 10 years working with children and young people, specialising in supporting those with special educational needs (SEN). Our experience has taught us how to create inclusive, engaging, and nature-focused learning environments where every child can thrive.

We’ve listened to your feedback, piloted and fine-tuned our programs, and are now ready to deliver something truly unique and impactful. Our approach blends hands-on learning with bushcraft skills, fostering creativity, resilience, and confidence—all while deepening children’s connection to the natural world 🌿

  • Following the success of our pilot programme, we are thrilled to continue offering our Home Ed sessions to home-educated young people and their families. Additionally and by popular demand, we have added our monthly drop-off club to give children a more in-depth learning experience…. and parents a bit of time to themselves!
